Review on MFP laser BROTHER MFC-L2700DWR by Michal Wojcik ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

A design that is both compact and flat, with no protrusions. It is practical that there is no indication whatsoever of where the paper tray is located. In cases when it is not required, the manual feed can also be totally shut off. It has been determined that dust cannot enter the apparatus under any circumstances. The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) also has a flip-top lid, which is another advantageous feature. The paper-picking mechanisms of older models frequently broke down, either because of dust or because of overheating when exposed to the light through a window. Easy installation and compatibility with all operating systems are also included. Because there is no warm-up phase, printing and copying are completed at breakneck speed. Printing with it results in a significant amount of background noise, which is one of its many drawbacks. Because I work late, this is really important to me. In addition, when it is in the ready mode, the buzzing is barely audible (prior MFPs warmed up more loudly and for a longer period of time before and after printing). It was also a little bothersome that as soon as the printer "decides" that the cartridge has run out, then printing is impossible under any circumstances (the settings indicate two possibilities: either printing stops when it is time to change the cartridge, or when it runs out). This was a bit annoying because it prevented me from printing important documents. However, the printer does not allow for such an opportunity to be created, despite the fact that it is sometimes more vital to print with stripes and spacing. The issue was resolved by obtaining two extra toners and engaging in consistent refilling of the existing ones. The application for scanning is actually a compilation of several other programs; among them are the capabilities to save to PDF, recognize scanned text, save as photos, and more.

Pros
  • The automatic feeder functions flawlessly, and the interior paper tray is easy and does not accumulate dust.
Cons
  • Printing can be a noisy process.
