Not exactly reflexive.
I wanted to wear something reflective to go out at night and decided to give it a try. I've found that reflective strips only work well when hit by bright light, such as in a car. B. car headlights, but in no other, weaker light reflect at all. If your only concern is getting hit by a car, then that's fine. I ended up returning mine. The size of the straps is also not adjustable. If you have skinny arms, they will be too big.
