I have had this installed in my house for a few months now and my wife and I absolutely love it. I spent some time running cables through the attic and putting the DVR in a closet. Used and old computer monitor with VGA cable. The included mouse works well and the software is fairly intuitive. The app is easy to download as I can monitor my house from anywhere. The only thing I can complain about is that the motion alerts are way too sensitive no matter how low I turn the sensitivity down! Otherwise, video quality is excellent and nighttime visibility is acceptable. I recommend!
