I've ordered for 2700k, 3000k and 4000k just to compare and see what we *really* like best for our living room. 3000,000 wins. We thought we'd need 4000k but it ended up being just low light - we're not comfortable relaxing. 2700k is the way to yellow. So it's 3000k then. None of the 12 bulbs broke and all worked. 1 of 2700k had a hum. This is a smaller bulb so it fits in most fixtures. Let's assume they can be used down to -4°F. They also specifically state that use in enclosed or sealed fixtures (which can reduce lamp life due to heat build-up) is acceptable on the bottom of the package. However, they are not designed for use in wet areas or for exposure to the elements. They're great for what we want to use them for. We are happy. -Frame) I will definitely update this review.
