I wanted to file my nails and noticed that my nail file was completely worn out. I checked out YouTube and saw on Simply Nailological that Christina uses a glass nail file. Since I needed a new file, I decided to try something else. I've noticed that sanding boards are very rough and tend to wear down and lose their grit easily over time. After using this glass file, I would say that compared to ordinary sandpaper, it files faster, does not give uneven nail edges, does not cause nail delamination, is not easy to wear out, and can be disinfected. It's a little trickier to use on acrylic nails but works like a charm on my regular nails. I love that the file comes with a case so I don't have to worry about it cracking or breaking and I can travel with it.
