Very, very nice. I've tried other brands and haven't found anything that compares. Basically, no other brand I've used has a serving rim that extends to very thin rims (think the rim of a plate, for example). So if you want to file small areas under or along the edge of the nail, you cannot use the thinnest side edges with other files. It's a really nice feature and they don't advertise it. Maybe the owners don't even know they made it that way! Another outstanding feature is the "grain plane”.

This review refers to ClassyLady glass folders/cases. I liked (note - past tense) the first one I bought. The first was smooth and did a great job on my brittle, dry nails. I tried several glass/crystal files. The first ClassyLady file was without a doubt the smoothest nail file I have ever used. It was an absolute favourite. It also has a metal case that protects it. I recently lost it so I was looking for the same file. This new ClassyLady is like wearing coarse sandpaper. He breaks my nails.
