Review on 🪨 Naniwa IO 1142 Japanese Sharpening Flattening Stone by Bradley Wacks

I wanted to practice smoothing the water stone. So I started using the inhomogeneous side first. Big mistake. My stone was severely hollow after only about 30 seconds. So I switched to the other side of this product (the completely flat side) and was able to properly smooth the stone. This can work a little better if the stone to be smoothed is shorter than the corrector. My stones are slightly longer than this corrector and either that or my inexperience seems to be causing a very slight concavity in the last stone. All this to say that this product works very well to get a nice smooth sanding surface!
