Review on πŸ”Œ Micsoa Multimeter Test Leads Banana Plug, Digital Multimeter Probes Electrical Test Probe 20A 1000V by Coby Hall

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor construction, soft plastic, not quite "universal " fit.

Another example of "You get what you pay for". I have several multimeters. Very good Fluke and some cheap Chinese models (Centek, MediaTek, etc.). I use them all a lot. These lines did not match any of my gauges. The diameter of the plastic sheath covering the plugs is too large and doesn't fit any of my gauges. In addition, shrouds are also made out of very soft and flexible plastic so they tend to flex/bend/twist when you try to deploy them. Even if you could insert them, I imagine the soft plastic wouldn't survive many insertion/extraction cycles (especially if you switch pins frequently). The ones on my leash wouldn't even stay on their tips and fell off at the slightest touch. They might last a day and get lost at work. The tip caps also have no holes at the extreme ends, so you can use just a very thin/sharp tip to inspect a component without opening the entire probe. It doesn't matter anyway because you will lose them after the first day. Maybe they are suitable for a very casual user but I should have known better based on the price. To be too good to be true. The probe handles are also made of very soft and flexible plastic. When working with high voltage, the last thing I need is a probe that flexes and causes me to slip off the test point.
