I bought these on purpose because they're economical and I don't need something that I would use every day during the ski season. With that in mind, this is a fantastic option for those who use ski gloves for a few weeks a year or even a month. What I really liked was the design. There is a drawstring to close the outer shell of the jacket, which is very easy to adjust even when wearing gloves. There are also two long loop straps which are incredibly useful for pulling the sheath out from under the glove if it gets stuck. This gets the gloves on right and securing your knuckles from snow is very easy - even easier than any gloves I've had. Next comes the strap, which is very easy to adjust around the wrist to keep the glove secure. Tightening and loosening this strap is easy and can be done while wearing gloves. I was skiing in 18 degrees Fahrenheit with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour. Particulate matter and snow globes flew everywhere. The other four people in my group, some of whom wore signature gloves, all had snow marks and cold hands. Mine were fried. Also, and I found it odd, my hands didn't sweat. They were warm and dry. I can't comment on how the gloves fare in temperatures well below 19 degrees Fahrenheit as I haven't experienced those temperatures. However, I didn't have time to freeze in my hands while my coat (Columbia is windproof and suitable for -10) and winter pants (North Face) were pierced by cold wind, and while it wasn't uncomfortable, they were borderline of their skills IMHO. I hope they hold up, they seem well built and overall durable. I would buy them again and plan to do so when replacing some of my baby gloves. They fit well as expected. I'll give them 5 stars until I experience something that convinces me they deserve the opposite. The only downside I had was that the material used in the palm was of a lower quality. Everything worked, but the material there was different than other gloves.
