The coffee grinder looks very solid. Grinds flaxseed very well. The grip is a little tight, but not bad. The grinding mechanism appears to be real plastic, which I believe will result in very little plastic in the flaxseed meal. Even if it's a small amount, I'd rather not have it. You might go back to the mortar and pestle I used, although it takes longer and doesn't work as well. Peugeot offers a website where you can register your coffee grinder for the warranty. It didn't work when I tried. He asked for a photo of the receipt; but the download was never successful. I've tried pdf, png and jpeg.
