This did the job, for significantly less than the OEM part from heat n glo. I had to improvise on providing the power due to the outlet not being live in our fireplace, but that's not the fan's fault, the fan works great.You'd definitely get more air movement out of a larger/double fan setup, but for me, this was just enough to get the heat out into the room. Its also pretty quiet.Now I just need to relocate my thermostat so the rest of the house doesn't freeze when the fireplace is on.
