I think I'm old fashioned. . I usually expect to get either solid metal fittings or metal when it counts when I get plumbing that I want to have for a while. The idea of having a portable piece was interesting, but not so much that I wanted to make a permanent whole in my shower screen to install. I guess what I didn't notice when I looked at it was that there wasn't any other option for handheld connection. If the whole thing was metal and the mounting part was metal, I might consider it because I know it's going to be a while. ...but the only metal in this set is the spray hose. even the hand holder is made of plastic and can break. .Not me.
