Review on Olympus WS-822 Blue Voice Recorder | 4 GB Internal Memory for Enhanced Performance by Scott Rao

This is the second Olympus WS-822 recorder that I own. I used the first one for many years before it "broke" - the USB plug stopped working. I use it to record my speeches. It picks up my voice perfectly and picks up the voices of other people in the room (the size of a classroom) very well. It's so convenient that I can just plug it into my laptop and then save my files. The playback sound quality is fuzzy when using the speaker, but perfect when I plug in headphones. There's enough storage to store many hours of recordings, and if I'm worried about running out of storage, I just transfer some files to my computer. Note. If you want to send an audio file to other people, the amount of data per hour is too large to attach it to an email. You need to upload the file to a third party and send the link to people so they can download it (I use wetransfer.com). I love this device and can only recommend it.
