Due to a growing family I need a bigger pot to cook gumbo and soup in. I made a purchase that I wanted to cancel because my stove has a glass top and I need a flat bottomed saucepan. I was pleasantly surprised when she arrived and found the floor was really flat. Although I buy it primarily for soup and gumbo, we will be using it for cooking food and the basket even comes in handy for gumbo so you can pick it up and pick out the meat. For the price it's amazing quality, it really is a very good pot for the price, the 24 liter size is perfect for my family's needs at this point. I recommend it to everyone, I think it was a good purchase.
