I bought a Marshall MS-4 on eBay to practice in the living room. When I received it I was saddened by how bad it sounded lol. It was like playing a calculator. It wasn't much better for making music, so it became a decoration. A few days ago I got bored and painted it white to match my other Marshal amps (DSL40CR, Valvestate) and started looking for replacement speakers. These were (2) 4 ohm 0.8 watt 3 inch speakers. I plug them into the amp and thank God. Finally sounds good! Let's be honest, IMHO these amps are more of a novelty than a truly playable amp, but I will 100% play them live more often. These speakers really gave my little amp a bit of a "Marshall" sound. Couldn't be happier. For $12, that's a win.
