Records high quality video to a flash drive or external hard drive. I'm only giving 4 stars because you really have no way of knowing if the device is actually writing files to a flash drive or hard drive. Of course there is light, but I had a few games that I recorded that never made it onto my flash drive. Aside from pausing the game, unplugging the flash drive, plugging it into your computer to see if files are being written, and then plugging it back into the device, you just don't know if a file is actually being written or not.
