So I like the length and they don't squat… I feel like I could get a small but didn't because I thought the shorts would roll off the waist. So I went to a medium size and they are a bit loose but the strap rolls up during exercise and so does the lower leg, I was in an aerobics class and the shorts are even pulled up but then again I don't know if it's because i should've gotten a small . So it's a bit annoying. The details on the butt are not very noticeable, maybe they would be denser. They are similar to compression shorts but in a good way. I like the high waist, that was my goal. For the price I would order again but maybe try a small one and see.
