The quality is pretty bad, the only thing that saves this item from 1 star is the look and finish of the wood veneer is actually very good. As others have said it had stains on the wood as shown in the picture but luckily for me it was on the bottom so it's not very noticeable. The instructions aren't great at all - it's just a page of pictures and not very detailed, with slide rails you have to make assumptions and there are no pre-drilled holes to install the rails and the way the rails are installed, is very strange. to the metal frame, there is an open nut on the outside of the frame. The choice of hardware just doesn't make much sense, especially the way you mount pieces of wood onto a metal frame, long thin screws in big hollow holes is weird. Also, you have to be very careful when screwing the double ended threaded screws into the tabletop or you'll bang them through the tabletop like I did. The manufacturer punches holes in the metal parts of the frame for the screws to go through and they just leave the metal parts in the frame to make them rattle - it might be ok after installation but I'm just picky so I took my time fish them out. out.Update: I'm almost ready to up the rating to one star because it's held up well, but then it fell again because of the keyboard drawer - the rails are awful and you can't weight them or they'll come a lot quickly out of service.
