Good sharp lens with long effective focal length (85mm.

Good sharp lens with long effective focal length (equivalent to 85mm) for portrait photography. My lens is quite sharp, even wide open, but I usually reduce my aperture a bit maybe down to 2.2 to still get the blurred background effect but with a bit more depth of field so all faces are sharp Another great thing about this lens is that it can be used as a pseudo macro, With a foot minimum focal length, I've taken some good close-ups of quite a few things (of course I said pseudo-macro, a real macro lens can magnify things a lot more.) The lens has a much longer minimum focus distance, so you don't use it as pseudo macro lens It also helps me a lot, but if you have an Olympus camera or have one of the few Panasonics that have one, it's not that important.
