Lately I've favored serious µ4/3 cameras as they introduced improved IBIS, HR mode and focus stacking. I really like my Oly 45/1.8 lens for portraits and general use. But my absolute favorite compact is the Panny GM5, which doesn't have an IBIS, negating the speed advantage of both the Oly and the most basic Panny.
