Lately I've favored serious µ4/3 cameras as they introduced improved IBIS, HR mode and focus stacking. I really like my Oly 45/1.8 lens for portraits and general use. But my absolute favorite compact is the Panny GM5, which doesn't have an IBIS, negating the speed advantage of both the Oly and the most basic Panny. So this Panny 42.5/1.7 with IS replaces the Oly in my compact kit. Test reports show it's at least as good, probably better cornering, than the excellent Oly. 58 shots, I've got a big winner and a few shots that I really like. It also looks great on a black GM5 so I'm a very lucky owner.
