Everyone has warned against cutting the pull rod down until it is properly installed. But my question was "When is it?" Here's a simple tip. As you tighten the anchor bolts, the zip ties will eventually fall off, indicating the gate is level. Focus on the top to make sure the gate is secure. Fixed now!
