(Original review below.) I've only had it 3 weeks and strange things started happening. If I have to restart it after an hour or two of work, it won't turn on for a while. I press the power button, it flashes, the fan runs audibly for a few seconds, then it shuts off again. I have to wait 15 to 45 minutes for it to turn on. I wonder if he's overheating for some reason (I'm not even going crazy!), and that's his way of protecting himself. But it really shouldn't take 45 minutes to cool down. It bothers me so much that I'm sending it back. I'd rather spend a little more for a more reliable Intel NUC. Initial rating 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 stars: Nice little car, a few minor flaws. I wanted a cheap little box that was strong enough for a home server and would allow me to use old 2.5" drives (so no Beelink Gemini), Wi-Fi and a fan, but not noisy. All of this is good, but there are a few small issues. Pros: - It's just a Celeron. , but J4125 is one of the fastest Celerons - It's very quiet. I used to have an Intel NUC and you could always hear the fan. This one is quiet - Works like a champ on Arch Linux. Cons: - There is a strange problem with the Windows license. I use Linux but I need a Windows license key if I ever decide to resell the computer. I've tried 3 different ways to get a license key and it gives me blanks every time (all these methods work on my other computers). I haven't verified the activation with Microsoft, so maybe all is well, but I don't have any trouble getting a license key from my own computer. Adding a 2.5-inch drive isn't difficult - they include an adapter and some pretty good instructions - but you'll have to connect the adapter yourself.
