These straps proved to be very good, almost everything we were looking for. They have an adjustable part that makes it easy to change the length. They are versatile and durable. They come in a variety of colors, which is also a plus. The main complaint about them is that the hooks are very small and it will be difficult for people with large hands to open them. If the hooks were bigger or easier to open this would definitely be a 5 star product. It doesn't say if they can be machine washed. However, we machine wash them without incident, but never tumble dry them. We only air dry them as the hooks are plastic.
