The description says "Keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer". That is not completely right. I live in Northern California where it can get up to 115 degrees in the summer. Even when using the sunshade on the windshield, my steering wheel can get very hot without a cover, which is why I bought this product. It doesn't make my steering wheel "cool" but it definitely helps. My steering wheel is definitely more comfortable in my hand. I've only been using it for a few months, so haven't tried it in the winter yet. But the winters here are mild in terms of temperature, so the presence of a "warm” steering wheel is not so important. It also makes steering wheel control more comfortable in long distance driving. I was recently in Reno, Nevada which is about a 3 hour drive. My hands weren't as sore and tired as they used to be when I was making these suitcaseless trips.
