Compact Power Strip with Wide Spaced Power Ports USB C, USB A

This is a well-designed round power strip with ports that are conveniently spaced with enough room for large power adapter plugs. The usual arrangement next to each other can often mean that you cannot use all of them. There are also two USB ports: a 2.4A USB-A port and an 18W USB-C Power Delivery port. It's really handy and perfect for charging iPhone, Android devices or Nintendo Switch. This power strip is not a surge protector, but has a flame retardant housing. The power cord is 5 feet long and has a 45 degree angle for a wall plug. Thanks to the screw holes on the bottom, it can be mounted on a wall or a table. I'm really surprised at how good this $25 product is, a similar product from Anker would cost closer to $40. One thing I noticed was that when using the 18W USB-C port to charge my iPhone, I heard a high-pitched, almost inaudible hum coming from the power strip. I don't know how this relates to this, but every device I've charged via USB C has charged fine and not behaved strangely. I hope this isn't a sign of poor electrical engineering, but that's why I'm not giving it five stars and will update my rating if there are any issues or if the USB ports stop working. Accommodate large outlets or huge power adapters, e.g. B. when using laptops. The USB-C connector alone costs $10-15 if you bought it for a smartphone. Sturdy and well built. refractory materials. Cons: no surge protection.
