I read some of the Q/A about maneuverability in sand but after looking at more expensive wagons, I took a chance on this one. Even though the wheels are narrow, they're rubber which is perfect for all non-beach use. Even on the beach, it's not that bad to pull it through soft sand - on packed sand, it's easy. I like how the wheels are evenly spaced. I looked at others with the front wheels together and there were too many complaints of tipping over. It has metal frame bars for easy pick-up on stairs and the flip-out table/drink holders are awesome! Easy fold-out, fold-up for transport is sweet. Definitely would recommend to others.
