I knew it was for the 7/8" bar when I bought it but for some reason they don't make this plain bar for 1 inch steering fro wheel. So I bought it. I used a Dremel tool to pry open an additional 1/8" piece piece by piece, like a cat eating a whetstone. The stabilizer tab that fits between the throttle cables was also in the wrong position for my JB Weld to hold it in place. I took a small piece of aluminum and made a short bracket to attach to the Vista grommet and on the opposite end I made a small hook that fits between and stays in between the throttle cables. Bend a small piece of metal over the edge of the tongue to keep it from twisting. Works great. Looks nice. And can still remove it without a trace if necessary.
