Review on Sennheiser CX 300S White In-Ear Headphones 🎧 with One-Button Smart Remote for Superior Sound Quality by Bach ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

The total insulting expenditures amounted to $3000. Though I prefer the sound of Sennheiser products, there are other brands available at similar or even higher price points. When I first put them in my ears, the flat sound and piercing highs were a shocking and unpleasant experience. When I first got them I was worried that they were a knockoff, but both the packaging and the headphones themselves are of high quality. I've looked around on a few different discussion boards for answers, but so far no luck. Seems out you have to screw these headphones right into your ear canals. I'd want to clarify that this is not my first pair of in-ear headphones; previously, I've used the Sennheiser cx300 and the Sony mdr ex-450 (which, by the way, are terrible; they produce bass so plasticky that it sounds like a toy). For some reason, not even the medium ear cushions fit all of my pals (if you screw them in until you feel discomfort). Yet, if you are able to enter them deeply enough into your ear canal, the sound will become more balanced, and strong lows will become audible (with a large margin even for swotting lovers). Unfortunately, the equalization is the only way to do rid of cutting tops (particular sounds), and in doing so, you'll lose all of the high frequencies. To listen to them for your own enjoyment is generally impossible. It's really bad, because the sound quality is actually rather good for the price; it's just too tight and the tops are too sharp. Regrettably, I can't give them back. Purchasing is not something I advise. I could have taken budget TWS for less than I spent on these cans. I can't believe Sennheiser made this mistake.

Pros
  • Structure firmly, and with durability (the wire is soft, does not tan, looks reliable) Set (new ear pads, case) (replacement ear pads, case)
Cons
  • Sound (see remark) (see comment) Landing
