The first thing I tried to write the file to was so slow that I pulled it out, restarted the computer and reformatted the drive. But that didn't help much. From there I ran tests on all five. See attached graphs: I found that two drives clearly had problems (#1, #2), two worked but at less than half the speed of most USB 2.0 drives (#3, #4) , and only the last one (#5) lived up to expectations. I think there's a reason the price was so attractive. Two of them will go in the basket today, maybe more will follow later.
