I started rating this 2 stars after having to replace them on 3 old processors but added a star because I realized it was a quality paste replacement (like Arctic MX-4) acted who abused this cheap paste. Instead, this material complements high quality paste for use elsewhere. Then I added another star for a very low price. For use on a CPU, I think this stuff is good enough for systems that are inherently cool with a combination of lower heat dissipating chips and larger heatsinks (e.g. an upgraded CPU). to a newer, smaller manufacturing process (nm) with reduced heat dissipation, or upgrading from an older, high-end processor to a newer, low-end processor with much less heat dissipation with an older, larger cooler). Problems occur when used on mid-range and high-end processors with standard coolers that match the processor, which leads to system temperatures that are too high. This paste also helps add heatsinks to components that typically don't have one, rather than using more expensive paste.
