So I just put together a rig, all top notch, and the motherboard this connector was made for, the Z590-E, as well as the 11th gen i9 which gave me full output lines on board. However, this card refused to read some devices. It read USB-C storage devices but didn't recognize any standard USB devices like hub or mouse, keyboard, camera, etc. and only occasionally read memory cards. This made it useless for me to buy it as I wanted to use it with ONE cable instead of 10 to my computer so it would be easier to move it a little further away from my workstation. so much for that. :(
