Pretty happy, works as it should

Received this watch a few days ago. Used cellular service from GSMA as AT&t is the only signal I get in my area, surprisingly not Verizon. The watch connected to the network in a few minutes. Created an account in the SE Tracker 2 app and linked the phone, it took a few tries, didn't seem to want to link and some of the input is confusing like the fact it then asks you to enter a phone number tells you it did is not necessary. The GPS tracking didn't work until my son went outside, then everything worked great. We sent a couple of test calls both ways, tried video chat and the messaging works. The video and camera quality is not very good, but note that it is a 0.2 megapixel camera. Microphone and speakers are good, calls are heard without problems. This watch has a flashlight, but unfortunately you have to go through the settings to find it and turn it on. I'm not sure about the battery life, but I'll update this review if necessary. Everything seemed fine yesterday, but we only used it for a few hours. Charging with a magnetic charger is easy but fairly straightforward. Installing the simulator was easy, just remove the two tiny screws and make sure the simulator is lined up correctly, push it in until it clicks into place, then replace the screws and cover. So far I'm very happy with this purchase and it seems to be working as it should.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Weak kit
