People in my town are driving red lights! Every day I see people running red lights with their cell phones etc and I want to be involved in an accident. I chose the Vantrue N1 Pro Mini DVR because of its size. My car already has Honda Sensing to avoid accidents, so I needed a camera that could fit alongside the built-in camera and sensors without blocking my view. The size of this camera was perfect. It fits well behind my rearview mirror without blocking my forward view. When inserting the SD card into the camera, the instruction is wrong, the bottom of the card with the gold stripes should face the LCD screen. The manual states that the card label to the LCD shows what is wrong. Some other features could be better documented, but that's not the point. A simple game with the camera will allow you to figure out the delay settings etc. Overall, the quality of the camera is excellent. I can easily read license plates and signs during playback. Due to the position of my camera, I can't easily access the snapshot button to take photos when I'm on the go, but that's down to my choice of mount. A few days after receiving the camera, I bought a GPS mount. This will add enough information like SPEED, time/date and GPS coordinates to the video to easily record what happened where in the video. You can see it in my screenshots. Yes, now I understand that I was a little over the speed limit. I find the quality of the camera to be exactly as advertised, the menus are easy to navigate and the size is perfect for my already crowded windshield.
