GOOD IMAGE QUALITY, BUT USE CAREFULLY!

Spoilers: read to the end to learn how to use it safely; Read the rest to understand why this is important. When I first reviewed this product I ended my comments with "I will be amazed when you see this review and get it right." Well I *WAS* stunned when you saw the review and sort of fixed it yourself . I reported that the key has "little protrusions" on the underside which I think are there to allow airflow to allow the plug to slide in smoothly. But the little metal parts are still there and I didn't realize it until they got stuck in the connector too late and when I wanted to remove the key to arrange my cables more neatly BAM! I suddenly, instantly and at that moment the whole picture seemed gone forever." Now I was worried about that the PCI slot or the motherboard was shorted. But after completely unplugging and unplugging the graphics card, and reinstalling the graphics card, I was able to get everything working again. This means the metal parts probably closed the circuit when I removed the key and caused a power surge that could have permanently burned my expensive workstation or graphics card, but I got lucky. And as I said, they "kinda got it right" in refunding me the key without asking for a refund, but the damage COULD be much, much worse and much more expensive, and the few bucks I got back to get would have been a drop in the bucket. However, I am grateful to them for taking this step without being prompted and I think it shows that overall they are a good company to do business with. Hopefully they fix this design flaw. So , in IT the product works fine but before you use it you have to deal with the small bits of metal in these holes to be sure or you risk causing a snag resulting in the key being stuck remains, or worse, a short circuit that can cause real damage. You can push them inwards with the tip of a pen or something (like I did) to make them less prone to snagging, which seems to work well, or you can use a dremel tool or small drill bit to to cut them. out (which I'm considering).
