Works as it should. Low beam flickers before installation. The mounted one was easy to hide as both harnesses came out of one side of the encoder rather than one at each end. Would have been 5 stars but I had to shorten the lock to match the plug to the car's factory plug. Before installing the encoder, the headlight was connected and locked normally. I don't know why I had problems with the encoder, the LEDs were also JDM ASTAR. Nevertheless I recommend!
