I've been sewing all my life and I have a very nice and expensive Bernina, but because I'm renovating my house it's full and I can't get to it. When I was in quarantine I wanted to start sewing face masks but I didn't have a sewing machine. I decided to buy a cheap machine to sew masks and other things on while I was incarcerated. I also justified it because I believe that I will soon be able to teach my grandchildren how to sew with it. Now they are toddlers, but soon they will be ready to learn. Despite that, I read some of the reviews and decided on this device. I didn't know Bernina did it. As soon as I unpacked it I could start sewing. Everything is where it should be, so everything is intuitive. Everything works fine and smoothly. The coil winds up well. Nicely sewn. I'm very happy with it and now I'm not sure if I really need this fancy machine that can do everything that's packaged. I am very happy with this purchase!
