Ideal for my office, beautiful portable advertisement. This personal fan works in more than one way to keep you cooler than a fan alone. Of course you have convective cooling, like a conventional fan. It can be used alone or in combination with fog. The mist adds an extra layer of cooling, an evaporative cooling of the air itself. These tiny water particles draw energy from the warm surrounding air to evaporate, effectively cooling the air temperature. The result is a local area of cooler air. It doesn't make a difference in a large room, but it works well in an isolated place like a table. When the air is colder, your body is also slightly better at losing heat through conduction. I think it works pretty well even on the lowest fan speed. I haven't had any issues with water drips or condensation from the unit which is amazing and tells me it does its job as an evaporative cooler. There are 3 fan settings and I don't find any of them too loud. I usually use it on low or medium as they work well for me. In addition to being a fan, it also has various color lighting options. Great little device and a step up from a regular fan.
