not a straight fit it's pyof (provide your fasteners)

description says 'straight fit' which seems to be true, it fits in place but how do you fasten it on the exhaust manifold without screws/studs ? When removing the original part, the screws/studs are pressed into the flange that is connected to the exhaust manifold. It has excess material outside of the welds on the corners that prevents the heat shield from seating properly, preventing attachment near the crankshaft sensor. Having to improvise was a setup nightmare, instead of a 2 hour job it became 2 days. Looking at similar products from other manufacturers none of them show that they include fasteners, hopefully the stainless steel bolts/washers/nuts I use will hold up. Purchasing 83266 it looks like I'm facing the same problem trying to figure out how to pin.

Pros
  • exhaust and emissions
Cons
  • i won't say anything
