So glad I found this part! It worked great replacing a broken PCV knee in my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT (V6, 3.0L). Ford designed a stiffer elbow, but they want you to buy the entire hose kit for the PCV valve assembly (2L5Z-6C324-CA) for $80. This OEM kit includes a PCV valve (available from your local auto parts store for less than $4), a rubber hose assembly, and a long plastic tube (which isn't easy to replace anyway). In most cases, all you need is this vent and possibly a PCV valve. This faucet was easy to replace. Simply remove the factory installed zip tie on the original hose (so you can remove the plastic hose) and slide it off the hose going to the PCV valve. Then put it back on the plastic tube, mount the new zipper and put it back on the mating connector of the hose to the PCV valve. A five minute job is easy. Sure, the new Ford part is more powerful, but the original lasted 14 years and 125,000 miles before failing. I assume I'll never have to replace this one again.
