Review on Classic Crafts Rock Tumbler Multicolor by Ashton Dahmer

I think this product is about what I would expect from a $35 stone jar. It really works and gives kids a great and fun learning experience, but it doesn't compare to the more expensive models I've tried from Lortone or Chicago Electric. What I really like is that this kit has everything we need from start to finish. There was always a small leak when we started, but the sand seems to plug the leak well before too much liquid comes out. It also makes a significant amount of noise when running, so you'll need to make sure you have a good spot for it to work. We used the garage and although you could hear it working outside with the garage door closed, you couldn't hear it in the bedrooms (thank goodness!). Other massagers I've tried have been much quieter, probably mostly due to the rubber body rather than the hard plastic on this one. Friction to actually spin the barrel. It didn't really matter, but it was a little annoying when we first put the barrel in and it wouldn't spin because it kept sliding. All in all it was a fun experience for the family. Update: After using this machine for a few months I would like to add some additional experiences. Firstly, this device is quite noisy when in operation. It's so loud that we had to turn it off at night due to family members complaining. We installed it in the garage on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms and it was still audible. I also had an issue with the rubber ring that rotates the barrel. Over time, the ring loosened and the barrel could no longer be tightened, which prevented a fall. I was able to install it without much effort. However, it seems like it should be designed a little better. The hard plastic of the barrel is easily scratched by coarse grit, making it difficult to clean with finer grit before shooting. chaos at work.
