Works as advertised and immediately recognized by Windows 10 with no configuration or driver installation required. Easily reads old class SD cards and new micro SD class 10 cards. At around the same price as a USB 2.0 reader, there's no point in buying anything other than a USB 3.0 reader as it is backward compatible with older computers that you can use. times faster than my USB 2.0 reader. Files appear instantly on the screen, and images and videos open at lightning speed compared to my USB 2.0. Although I haven't tried making copies yet, it reads two drives at once. So if you want to clone/copy/backup one Micro SD or make it bigger, it's only one step if you have SD adapter for Second Micro SD. With a cable that's about seven (7) inches long, everything works fine for me with the USB 3 ports on the top front of the case, but if you need to connect from the back you may need an extension cable or it will have to dangle in front. It's better than no cable so you can hit it without damaging the connector or reader, but there are a few things to note.
