Excellent. Definitely removes the taste of chloramine from our municipal water supply. I simply cut a 1/4" polypropylene feed line in half and then stuck the ends into the filter, no brass fittings to fiddle with. Be sure to connect the inlet side first and run 5 gallons of water through it into the flush bucket. I have an old Whirlpool refrigerator with a $30 filter cartridge that is accessed from the bottom front of the unit. The cartridge holder is cracked and leaking, so I bypassed it and installed it behind the fridge. Now replacing the filter is a lot cheaper, and actually easier.
