Less than expected.
My son wears ankle braces and hates new shoes. Twice before we got Keen Merril shoes and he was happy. It's a bit, albeit disappointing. The bungee cord is thinner, not as elastic. The shoe material is thinner, not as cushioning. Unfortunately, Merrils are no longer available. So this has to be done.

- My son loves them and so do I! They are very easy to care for and easy to care for. He wears them to school every day.
- Shoes can have poor breathability, which is uncomfortable for babies.
