Sturdy and strong, but the finish is short-lived

I bought this necklace to carry a fairly heavy pendant. It's perfect for him! However, after about two months of wear, the rose gold plating wears off and the chain begins to leave a dull green stain on the neck. I haven't put any solutions on it and I don't wear it in the shower. Absolute disappointment!

Pros

I'm glad I ordered the largest length they had, the chain is small but strong.

Cons

Might be too expensive for an essentially simple chain necklace with added sequins.
