This HDMI switch is very good. Before that I had an automatic switch that was only 3-port. It was good but the automatic switch was terrible. If he had turned on video 1, he wouldn't have switched to video 2, only video 3. That drove me insane. I ended up getting this 5 port. It is very nice. I use my computer, PS3, Wii, Blu-ray player and receiver box with antenna. I used to have to switch ports if I wanted to use the Wii or a Blu-ray player. I flood all 5 ports on it. Using it in conjunction with my computer is great. It is actually powered via the included USB cable. I can connect an HDMI hub to my computer. The hub itself looks very nice and works very well. It comes with a remote control so you can switch to any HDMI port you want. The remote control is really thin and small so it fits anywhere. I like it, it's not very big. It fitted seamlessly into my existing setup so I didn't have to move anything. It just stood right over my Blu-Ray player, allowing the remote to switch between them with ease.
