Review on Canon EOS 60D: 18MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera Body - Your Next Photography Companion by Dagmara Orzechowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

In general, there are some things that simply cannot be described. Recently parted ways with my Canon 550 D and have decided to upgrade to this model. I am satisfied. It is still necessary to purchase a regular lens. By the way, I didn't enjoy it the first time I watched it, so don't take my word for it. It appeared to be cumbersome, the buttons weren't user-friendly, and in general there wasn't anything like that. But then I looked at it once more, this time more attentively, and made the decision to purchase it. The transaction was completed to my complete satisfaction. Just putting in a little more effort and carefully perusing the directions is all that is required of us at this point. It's a tad bit out of my pricing range. On the other hand, it's just a matter of time. I will add this after putting it to use for a few months. Through the menu, the lock button can be deactivated. About the video brakes that occur during playback. I had them, despite the fact that both the computer and the video were not the weakest possible examples being the Sapphire HD5870. I experimented with a variety of programs, but it was to no avail; the roadblocks were still there, albeit less noticeable in some of the programs than in others. I wanted to update the card to the tenth-class version. I am in possession of a class 6 card. The other day, though, I installed Windows 7 x64, which came out before Vista x64 did. Hence, there is no longer any braking power. I played it using the default WP-12 player with the most recent version of the codecs from the x-64 codec bundle. There is not a single problem with anything.

Pros
  • All of the advantages of the Canon 550 D, in addition to brand new functions. Despite the fact that the matrix is the same, for some reason I got the impression that it took better pictures when I used the same lens. I am qualified to provide judgment because I have experience with both a Canon 500 D and a Canon 550 D. They made the working ISO significantly higher, and the rotating display is excellent. By the way, when you shoot it, it functions similarly like a pistol that has a silencer.))) A peculiar noise that is barely audible and is not at all recognizable. It fits the palm of the hand more naturally than the Canon 550D. It has a nicer feel, most likely due to the rubber bands that are on both sides (550 rubber band on one side). Also, the design of the casing for the right hand has been improved so that it is more comfortable to use; specifically, the notch for the thumb has been made larger. Add. The illumination on the screen makes for a pleasant viewing experience. a greater number of customizable settings in comparison to the company's most recent models of cameras. When compared to the Canon 550 D, the auto-focus is noticeably quicker and more precise. By the way, once you've gotten used to controlling the device with the joystick, you could find that it's more convenient than the buttons used in earlier models. (although, this is just a matter of opinion)
Cons
  • The fact that they damaged the mode switch wheel by placing a lock button in the middle is, in my opinion, the most significant disadvantage of this product. It actually is inconvenient to do so. It used to be in higher quality. You may make the change with the touch of one finger. It's probably just a matter of getting used to things, but I preferred the previous available choices. It was explained to me in one of the reviews that I read that this was done so that the shooting mode would not be changed by accident. I'm curious as to how it could have been done by mistake. They also got rid of the sensor that turned off the display whenever you brought the camera close to your face. It's not a huge deal, but the display that comes included can be annoying at times.
