I was working on an RV project that required me to build panels. These panels were made from a wooden frame with styrofoam sandwiched between two pieces of luan. I've done this type of project before and used 3M 1357 glue (a really great glue) to glue the luan to the wood frame and I used spray glue to glue the styrofoam to the plywood. The reason I had to use two glues for this project is that 1357 melts the foam. 3M 30 NF Fastbond melts most types of foam. I use this glue for gluing parts because it's faster to use some kind of glue. Another good use of Fasbond glue is to bond carpet to headliners in vans. I was about to spray glue on the carpet but my compressor wasn't powerful enough to do the job. I quickly applied the glue to the carpet with shaving brushes. 3M 30 NF did an excellent job of applying and the finished product looked great. Fastbond is much easier to work with than other adhesives. If you buy by the gallon, the price is much cheaper than other adhesives.
