Review on Epson EF-100 Smart Laser Projector With Android TV White by Darren Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very bright: my feedback

I got this projector to use in my bedroom instead of a regular TV. I'm not really a huge fan of a TV in the bedroom in general but these last two years have changed that a bit. With having to stay away from my wife and kids at times this past few years having a TV in the bedroom is nice.I set this up on a night stand pointing at a side wall. The wall is a light green color. Before setting it up I thought I would need a screen or at least paint the wall. Now I know the picture quality and colors aren't perfect but for my limited time viewing it looks very good. Whites somehow still look white. Not really sure how laser protectors work but a bright white background still looks white on a green wall. The room it's in is pretty dark in general with blinds and half open curtains. This is more than enough bright that I needed to turn down the output. The only small complaint is that it only has one input which the included Android stick plugs into. Would be nice to have a second built in to quickly be able to plug a laptop to as well. Disconnecting the included stick means removing the back panel and unplugging a recessed HDMI. Not terrible but not convenient. The audio quality is decent enough for a small speaker to fill the bedroom with mid and high range sound, don't expect any bass low end sounds. I use it mostly with a Bluetooth headset which works very well.Overall I really enjoy this little projector and has worked well for me.
