Great for basic stuff, does NOT work for Smart TV menu items
This remote is great because it lets you do most of the things that you can do with a Samsung OEM remote; However, when it came to pairing and confirming the device, my TV kept asking me to use my Smart Remote and I couldn't. So for everyday tasks, opening and using apps, watching TV, adjusting the volume, changing channels, everything is fine. Perhaps an app on your phone can replace the Smart Remote for pairing things (e.g. Nintendo). I do not know.
